America’s entrepreneurs create the majority of the nation’s new jobs and employ the majority of the nation’s work force. They also lead in innovation and have made the American private business community the envy of the rest of the world. They do all this largely alone and sadly at a high price… only 4 in 10 businesses ever make it to their fourth anniversary.

The Organization for Entrepreneurial Development is a 501(c)(3) public charity founded by entrepreneurs to help entrepreneurs break the ‘going it alone’ syndrome and not only survive but thrive.

Through its 100% contributor funded activities and programs, the Organization for Entrepreneurial Development is making a difference in the personal and business lives of entrepreneurs at every level in their business life cycle. From start-up to exit, the Organization is developing the resources to help entrepreneurs enjoy the fruits of their labors and improving their competitiveness, as well as their success and longevity.

Where do Organization programs and funding come from? From successful entrepreneurs who are willing to give of their time, talent and resources to help other entrepreneurs.

This is not surprising because, as George Gilder wrote in his book Wealth and Poverty: “Entrepreneurs intuitively understand one of the world's best kept secrets: Capitalism begins with giving. And capitalism works best and creates the greatest wealth and human progress for all when it follows age old teachings: Give and you will be given unto . . . search and you will find . . . cast your bread upon the waters and it will return to you many fold."
